One question we get quite often is what to bring on our snorkel trips. If you have your own mask, snorkel, fins and a wetsuit you are welcome to bring them with you but we also offer gear rental if you need it. We have a cooler on the boat with free drinking water and we sell bottled water for $1, sodas for $2 and beer for $3. You are welcome to bring any food or drink that you like, just no glass bottles or styrofoam coolers. Bring a towel, sunscreen and perhaps a change of clothes for when you get out of the water. The first wetsuits ever made in the 50′s required the user to cover themselves and the suit in talc in order to put them on? The rubber material was quite difficult to put on bare skin and would often rip the suit in half if pulled on hard enough! Well lucky for us, the wetsuits we use today have greatly improved. Our water temperature today is around 70 degrees, which for some is pretty cool but for others feels like bath water. If you are interested in renting a wetsuit we offer them for a fee of only $10. We certainly love our scuba divers…but if you’re looking for a place to go snorkeling without having to share space with scuba tanks, we’ve got you covered. On our spacious Quicksilver Catamaran we can accommodate up to 40 passengers, all snorkelers or riders.
